Wes Anderson who made his bones both acting and creating out of the ordinary features such as Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, the Royal Tenenbaums, and the animated Fantastic Mr. Fox (blogged about in this column two years ago – Fantastic Mr. Fox) has another highly stylized, avant garde project in the home stretch.  Due to hit theaters in May, Moonrise Kingdom draws on some creative and out there actors with an all star cast including Ed Norton, Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDonald, Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman.

The film, written by Roman Coppola and Anderson, is an out of the ordinary teen adventure flick, that’s sure to collect some major buzz.
