Riverdale Country School Video
Summer Newsblast
We created this newsblast for the Riverdale Country School located just outside of New York City. The content of each newsblast can be custom designed to reach alumni, current parents or friends of your organization or … all of the above. School videos can be a lot of fun.
This is the first newsblast we created for the Riverdale Country School, and it was so useful for them that we were later commissioned to do several more. What is a newsblast? It’s simple. A newsblast is an online video newscast updating those who care about the school with its most recent events and notable accomplishments. Think of it as a multimedia newsletter of sorts.
This video covers several significant undertakings at Riverdale. From showcasing a young and enterprising student’s success in writing for Time For Kids, to profiling some RCS graduates who have returned to teach, the newsblast format allows us to tell these stories in a way that we would never be able to do within an annual fund or capital campaign video.
There’s the old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words, but how much is a video worth? Programs like the lower school’s garden project come to life on the screen, and gives parents and alumni a invaluable glimpse into just one unique aspect of the daily life in Riverdale’s lower school.
This is the power of an effective video. We pride ourselves on finding the heart of a story, and capturing a moment in time at a school is a creative challenge we truly enjoy engaging in. Contact us today if you want to see what the deweymedia production team can do for you and your business.
