Annual Fund Raiser for Horace Mann
“I Believe”
The “I Believe” end of year 2012 Annual Fund campaign was produced by Deweymedia Executive Producer, Paul Dewey. This fund raising video was shot on the Horace Mann campus in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. The combination of graphic animation, direct camera address, and careful scripting makes the message of the annual fund raiser video abundantly clear. We’ve created several projects with Horace Mann and always enjoy working with them.
Short and sweet, the goal of this video was simple: show many examples of people who believe in Horace Mann, and let them tell us why. Primarily geared towards alumni and members of the school’s friends and family, the video plays off of the strengths of the school and aims to evoke memories of great experiences and memories at Horace Mann.
There are some stylish editing choices in addition to the use of animated text, which complete the video’s own unique aesthetic. Much like the school itself, the approach we took to the video is informed by tradition, but not dictated by it. We have the experience to understand what works in a fund raising video and what doesn’t, as well as having the creative drive to try some new things and continue to create something original.
