Animals in their Element; Museum of Animal Perspectives
Perhaps I should be posting about Haiti this week, but I need a break from watching non-stop news coverage. Here’s a wonderful collection of video of animals in their natural element. I caught the fellow who is curating this project, Sam Easterson, on one of the network news shows. His web site is called the Museum of Animal Perspectives and it shows a vast assortment of animals in the wild doing there thing. This is one of the videos of a Borneo Rhino caught by Cam on a Night Trail. It is the first footage of elusive Borneo (Sumatran) Rhino nighttime in the rainforest of Sabah. collected
Here’s a link to the Museum of Animal Perspectives website which is chock full of all kinds of animals in their natural element. One more piece of evidence proving that good video does not have to be highly polished and edited. This stuff is thoroughly compelling.
Update (Dec. 2013)
The flickr account from the Museum of Animal Perspectives that offered us such amazing images has sadly been taken down. It’s a bit of a bummer the shots are gone, but we at Deweymedia are happy to have great memories. If you want to pick our brains about these videos, or perhaps a potential project you might have for us, feel free to contact us, we’d love to hear from you!
