Black and White in Perspective: 50 Years of Integration
The Lawrenceville School
This documentary film we produced for the Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey chronicles the institution’s monumental growth in the past fifty years. The 20 minute documentary piece celebrates the 50th anniversary of black students at the school, as well as examining the school’s path to drastically increased diversity throughout the past 50 years.
We used dozens of hours of interview footage, countless archival photographs, and a creative selection of stock footage to tell this important story that spans over the course of half a century. The invaluable first hand accounts from students from each era we profiled make up the spine of the narrative, and the insights of researchers and historians help to further illuminate the story.
