Shark Week – Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Go Back In The Water…

It has become a hallmark commodity for the Discovery Channel, the documentary network’s highest rated programming gathering an average of 27.6 million viewers (Nielsen) over the seven days of programming.  Now in it’s 23rd year, Shark Week starts again this Sunday, Aug 1 and runs through August 7.  And there’s no waning interest in these sharks because the last three Shark Weeks have been the most watched ever.  Here are some highlights of some of this coming week’s programming.
