Farms are some of the most important businesses in America.

Here’s a mini-doc about the Chase family.  Watching this makes me miss my days last summer of traveling the country to interview farmers for our documentary, Farmageddon. It was a lot of work, but really made me appreciate the people whose efforts keep America fed, certainly not an easy task. This film, created by Maine Farmland Trust and Pull-Start Pictures, does a good job at quickly establishing the lives and livelihood of these farmers. The camerawork is all very nice throughout; the interviews, in particular, I noticed had excellent lighting.
