Images of Power: How Photos Can Change the World.

Here’s a great TED conference talk given by Jonathan Klein from Getty Images who explores how images have the power to dramatically change our perceptions of the world and affect change. Klein asks and examines the question: Does the photographer take an image or do we have a take on an image made by a photographer? When does an image gain its meaning? Heady questions, luckily they lead to an inspired (not insipid) dialogue about film, art, and the nature of meaning.
